Following his father's death in 1929 lived with his mother and siblings at a farmhouse near Arrino and then in the Arrino townsite ^[P2]
Along with his siblings Maurice, Jack and Pearl he was baptised on 7 February 1932 by the North Midlands Methodist Missioner ^[84]
Farmhand for Arthur G. Y. SAUNDERS on Wattle Grove and York Park Farms in Arrino ^[P2]
Resided in Kalgoorlie prior to enlisting in the Australian Army on 13 July 1940^[16]
Private WX6213 in the Australian Army's 2/7 Field Ambulance during the Second World War ^[16]
Discharged from the Australian Army on 13 January 1947 ^[16]
Later resided in the southern Perth coastal suburb of Safety Bay ^[2]
Died 24 April 1994; ashes interred Fremantle Cemetery, Perth suburb of Palmyra (Niche Wall, 1, 58) ^[2]

"Births - LEWIS - On August 16, at Nurse Lloyd's Private Hospital, Coolgardie-street [in Subiaco], to Mr. and Mrs. Lewis, of Winchester - a son. Mother and child well."
