Farmer in Three Springs 1911-1923 ^{[6] [10: 11-Oct-1923] [19]}
His farm was the 493 acre Lot M831 of Victoria Location 2020 situated about seven miles from the Three Springs townsite ^{[10] [44]}
Resided in a four roomed house on his farm with verandahs right around, and also had the usual outbuildings ^[10]
Prior to his death his farm was subdivided into six paddocks and he had cleared all of the property except for about 20 acres ^[10]
In 1923 he had nine Draught horses, one pony, one cow and the following plant and machinery:- ^{[10: 11 & 18-Oct-1923]}
     10-disc Shearer plough, 3-furrow Unicorn mouldboard plough, single furrow plough. 17-tine cultivator, 13-tine cultivator, ^[10]
     6-foot Sunshine harvester, 6-foot May Bros harvester, 6-foot May Bros stripper, winnower, 13-disc McCormack drill, ^[10]
     6-foot McCormack binder, 2½-horsepower Little Wonder engine, 2-blade Bentall chaffcutter, 4-ton lorry, light dray, ^[10]
     sulky and harness, ¼-yard scoop, 3000-gallon tank, three 1000-gallon tanks, and two 2000-gallon galvanised iron tanks ^[10]
Seeded 185 acres of crop on his farm in 1923, which was estimated to yield 15 bushels per acre ^[10]
Died 31 July 1923 in Three Springs; buried Three Springs General Cemetery, Three Springs (Unsurveyed Corner) ^[24]
Following his death the Curator of Interstate Estates put his farm up for sale by tender on 12 September 1923 ^{[10: 11 & 18-Oct-1923]}
