Himself, her husband and their sons along with Lavinia and Jim DONEY of Coorow spent Christmas of 1942 in Dongara ^{[5: 8-Jan-1943]}
By August 1943 they had left Carnamah and shifted to Coorow, where her husband worked as a labourer ^[19]
