Married "May" Mary Amelia Cecil DOWNER on 6 December 1916 at the home of May's parents in Perenjori ^{[39: 19-Dec-1916]}
In 1918 he and his wife were living with on the farm of May's parents - Wattle Park Farm in Perenjori ^{[120: 24-May-1918]}
He took up land adjacent to his father-in-law's farm later in 1918 and erected a small weatherboard house with a shingle roof ^{[86: 7-Sep-1918]}
Farmer in Perenjori, Western Australia 1921-1938 ^{[19] [61]}
Legislative Council electoral rolls listed him as the lessee of Victoria Locations 4786 and 4787 in Perenjori ^[61]
In 1924 he had the registered horse and cattle firebrand of FA9 ^[486]
Later resided in the Perth suburb of Como ^[2]
