He was described as being five feet five inches tall with dark hair and brown eyes in 1934 ^{[30: item 1103217]}
His intent to apply for naturalisation appeared in Carnamah's local newspaper The North Midland Times on 13 July 1934 ^{[5: 20-Jul-1934]}
The same notice, as required by law, also appeared in a second newspaper, which was The Irwin Index on 4 August 1934 ^{[30: item 1103217]}
Officially applied from Carnamah on 5 August 1934 for a Certificate of Naturalisation under the Nationality Act 1920-1930 ^[30]
His employer James K. FORRESTER, local saddler John BURNS and local storekeeper Andrew SMART supported his application ^[30]
Renounced his Italian nationality and took an Oath of Allegiance to the Commonwealth of Australia on 27 February 1935 ^[30]
Received his Certificate of Naturalisation from the Department of The Interior on 2 April 1935, number B.B.7765 ^[30]
