Grew up in Devonshire, England where his father worked as a Road Contractor and later as a Coachman [20]
In 1891 was living with his parents and siblings William, Thomas and Mary at Lower Woods Cottages in Molland, Devonshire [20]
Later resided with his parents and siblings Thomas, Elizabeth and Henry in Clayhidon, Devonshire [20]
In 1901 he was working as a Farm Carter [20] and was later listed as a Miner [70]
Departed London, England on the Orama and arrived in Fremantle, Western Australia on 18 March 1913 [70]
Married Laura H. HOWELL in Perth in 1913 [66]
Resided in Three Springs for a period however by May 1915 had left for England, where he was a reservist in the Imperial Forces [10]
His left for England after he did and by the time she arrived he had left for the front [10]
Later resided in the Perth suburb of Victoria Park [2]
Died 7 July 1934; buried Karrakatta Cemetery, Perth WA (Anglican, ZL, 166) [2]
