"PEARSON – WALDECK: Mr and Mrs H. J. Pearson, of Korrelocking, have much pleasure in announcing the engagement of their only daughter, Betty, to Bront, only son of Mrs J. C. Waldeck, of Coorow."

Marriage
"The wedding of Miss Betty Pearson, the daughter of Mr and Mrs H. J. Pearson, of Korrelocking, to Mr Bronte Waldeck, the son of Mrs J. C. Waldeck, of Coorow, took place on Saturday evening at Christ Church, Claremont. The bride's gown of white satin had a fitted bodice with a boat shaped neckline edged with handmade flowers and a full flared skirt which formed a long train. Her attendants, Mrs Mervyn Maitland, Mrs John Moody and Miss Lois Muhling, chose soft shades of gold, green and pink respectively for their attractive frocks, which had fitted short sleeved bodices of lace and bouffant tulle skirts. Mr H. E. Jones was the best man and Messrs W. A. Woollacott and C. Hyde, the groomsmen. The reception was held at the Cottesloe Civic Centre. Mr and Mrs Waldeck will leave shortly to spend a holiday in Singapore."
