On 23 July 1930 purchased 940 acres of prospective farmland on Billeroo Road in Winchester from Sidney ASHMORE ^{[27] [62]}
The 940 acre farm was Lot M1091 of Victoria Location 1938 and still had instalments owing to the Midland Railway Company ^[27]
Their land in Winchester was listed as vacant until 1933 and then as a farm 1934 onwards ^[3]
During the 1935-36 financial year sold their partly paid off 940 acres in Winchester to Walter CHAPMAN of Winchester ^[3]
