The entire family was booked to depart on the steamship Gothic on 29 February 1912 bound for Fremantle, Western Australia [203]
He got lost in London and his father stayed back to find him, eventually seeing him on the shoulders of a policeman [P439]
His mother and all of his siblings departed London, England on the Gothic and arrived in Fremantle on 10 April 1912 [23]
He departed from Liverpool, England with his father on the steamship Belgic on 27 April 1912 bound for Fremantle [203]

The land was purchased from the Midland Railway Company and was payable by instalments over 15 years [27]
