Deaths
SELWAY - At North Midlands District Hospital, Three Springs, Catherine (Kate) Selway, dearly beloved husband of Arthur Selway (deceased) and mother of Iris Boddington and Jack Selway (Three Springs); aged 75 years. Ever remembered.

Death
"The death occurred at the North Midlands District Hospital, on Monday, July 16, of Mrs. Selway, mother of Mr. D. J. Selway of Three Springs. The funeral took place at Three Springs on Tuesday and the esteem in which Mrs. Selway was held was fully demonstrated by the large number who assembled at the graveside. The cortege left the Roman Catholic Church at 4 p.m. for the Three Springs cemetery, where the Rev. Father Lynch performed the burial service. Floral tributes were received from the following: Mr. D. J. Selway; Mr. and Mrs. Bateman; Val and Adrian Sorenson; Mr. and Mrs. Sowerby; Mrs. Mayrhofer, Dr. Mayrhofer and Miss A. Byrne; Mr. and Mrs. Max Wilson; Mrs. Watson and A. Mortimer; Mr. and Mrs. Carmody; Mr. H. Sorensen; Mr. and Mrs. Morgan; Dominican Nuns; Mr. and Mrs. Jordan and family; Mr. and Mrs. Barnhart; Mr. and Mrs. E. Sheahan and family; Mr. and Mrs. Duffy and Ted; Mr. R. J. Fogarty and family; Mr. and Mrs. A. Hunter and family; Mr. and Mrs. Luscombe; and the chairman, secretary and members of the Three Springs Road Board."
