His property was situated approximately seven and a half miles from the Gunyidi railway siding [10: 22-Feb-1918]
He was the Postal Vote Officer for those near his Meelyah property for the Legislative Council elections on 13 May 1910 [9: 22-Apr-1910]

He and his wife owned the farm, which consisted of 2,451 acres of Conditional Purchase blocks and a 309 acre grazing lease [10]
The property contained a four roomed wood and iron homestead and shed, and was watered by two wells and three dams [1]
Fencing subdivided the farm into seven paddocks - some of which were six wire fences and the remainder wire netting [10: 8-Mar-1918]
500 acres of the farm were first class cleared land, and the remainder contained Salmon, York Gum and predominantly Jam trees [10]
Later resided in the Perth suburb of Glendalough [2]
Died 20 September 1965; buried Karrakatta Cemetery, Perth WA (Roman Catholic, OC, 484C) [2]
