Born 14 September 1862 in Trial Hill, South Australia [55]
Son of "Ulrich" Friedrich Wilhelm Ulrich RUST and "Maria" Marie Elizabeth HEINRICH [55]
His parents were German and lived in South Australia for many years until moving to Western Australia in about 1895 [30: item 32993]
In 1896 his father shot his mother in the shoulder, possibly by accident, and was sentenced to six months imprisonment [39: 10-Apr-1896]
His father was "discharged by remission" from Fremantle Prison in September 1896 [165] but died later the same year [15]
In 1906 he was working as a Labourer in Jarrahdene, near Karridale in the south west of Western Australia [50]
He was working as a Mill Hand and living with his mother on Anstey Road in the Perth suburb of West Guildford in 1916 [50]
Yardman at the Commercial Hotel in Three Springs in 1925 [19]
In 1931 he was a pensioner and was living at 210 Beaufort Street in Perth [50]
Later resided in the Perth suburb of Leederville [50]
Died 11 February 1937; buried at the Karrakatta Cemetery in Perth, Western Australia (Wesleyan, DC, 137) [2]
