     Without knowing beforehand or to begin with she was also a guest of honour with Farewell Afternoon being held in her honour [5]
     The pleasant afternoon was spent in chatting, competitions and presentations interspersed with musical and vocal items [5]
     She received a presentation during which it was remarked she would be greatly missed and very hard member to replace [5]
     Afterwards she expressed regret at leaving and said the Carnamah C.W.A. was the most amicable branch she'd been a part of [5]
     She hoped the members would continue to pull and work together, and that she would see more of them after she moved [5]
Along with her husband left Carnamah in March 1937 and shifted to Strawberry in the Mingenew district [5: 19-Mar-1937]
Later resided in the Perth suburb of Joondanna [2]
Mother of Reo Wallace, Elma Joyce, Joffre Barr and Ian Gilbert [P114]
Died 29 May 1979; ashes scattered to the winds at the Karrakatta Cemetery, Perth WA [P114]
