Candidate for Winchester in the Ugly Woman Competition conducted in Three Springs for the Y.M.C.A. in May 1917 [9: 25-May-1917]
She came ninth in the competition with 1,367 votes which helped raise £208/17/6 for the war efforts of the Y.M.C.A. [9] [34]
Around July 1917 had to travel to Perth to undergo an operation for appendicitis[34]
Won 2nd prize for 1lb of Butter at the Three Springs Annual Picnic meeting on Thursday 25 September 1919 [9: 3-Oct-1919]
Won the Booby Prize at the Euchre Party & Dance at Mrs Annie DAVIESON's in Carnamah on 8 November 1919 [10: 14-Nov-1919]
Attended the Carnamah Race Ball at the Carnamah Hall on 10 April 1924 in a grey voile dress worked with pink flowers [10: 24-Apr-1924]
Married Peter DOYLE in Perth in 1925 [66]
