Broke his arm in Arrino on Monday 14 September 1914 when he was out driving with his father in their horse and sulky [10: 18-Sep-1914]
He hoped out of the sulky and on getting back on the horse took off quicker than expected and he was thrown onto the ground [10]
His father took him to Three Springs to get the advice of Arthur W. V. GREEN, who confirmed that his arm was broken [10]
The next day his father took him to Moora by train where he was admitted to the Moora Hospital for treatment to his arm [10]
At a land sale held on Friday 13 October 1922 he purchased the 13 acre Suburban Lot 65 near the Arrino townsite [86: 14-Oct-1922]

Member of the Arrino Football Club in 1922 and 1923 [9: 15-Sep-1922, 13-Jul-1923]

He was complimented by the Three Springs Road Board for the way in which he carried out the duties of Vermin Inspector [4]
In 1936 he was working as a Labourer and living on Recreation Road in Kalamunda[50]
