She resided at the old hospital building in Mingenew and transformed its grounds into beautiful gardens of plants and slips ^{[4: 17-Oct-1953]}
Many of the seeds for her garden had been collected from the various districts she visited through her nursing duties ^{[4: 17-Oct-1953]}
Later resided in the Perth suburb of Claremont ^[2]
Died 24 July 1986; ashes scattered to the wind at Karrakatta Cemetery in Perth, Western Australia ^[2]
