She was bid farewell by a gathering in the lounge of the Hospital Quarters in Three Springs on Thursday 29 August 1946 [4: 7-Sep-1946]
Present at her farewell were the Hospital's Board Members (and their wives) and Women's Auxiliary, and other district citizens [4]
The Hospital Board's Chairman spoke in eulogistic terms of the excellent service she had rendered to the hospital and district [4]
Prior to the serving of supper she received a presentation from the Women's Auxiliary and a cheque from the Hospital Board [4]
Left Three Springs in 1946 and shifted to Northampton where she had secured a similar job [4: 7-Sep-1946]
