The five of them departed from London, England on the steamship Orvieto on 19 January 1912 to immigrate to Australia ^[203]
After a voyage of a month they arrived on the Orvieto in Fremantle, Western Australia on 19 February 1912 ^[338]
Her mother died in 1916 and her father married Prudence BOOTH in Perth in 1917 ^{[15] [66]}
