While busy at her home in Arrino on Tuesday 26 June 1934 she tripped and hit her head on the corner of a table [5: 29-Jun-1934]
She broke a small blood vessel near her eye and was immediately conveyed to the North Midlands District Hospital, Three Springs [5]

The Late Mrs G. Dee - Funeral at Three Springs
"A resident of Arrino of about seventeen years in the person of the late Mrs G. Dee passed to her last rest at the Three Springs Hospital on Tuesday last after a very brief illness. The deceased lady was 74 years of age and in addition to her husband is survived by an adult family of four sons and four daughters, One of her sons (Mr Albert Dee) was in hospital at Three Springs at the same time as his mother. The funeral took place at the Three Springs Cemetery on Wednesday last, the Rev. Father M. Lynch conducting the ceremony at the graveside. The chief mourners were Messrs. W. Dee and G. Dee (sons), and Nellie and Mannie Jolley (grandchildren). The pall-bearers were Messrs. J. K. Allan, C. E. Maley, W. J. Turner and W. D. S. Smith. Others at the graveside included Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Sweetman, Mr. and Mrs. H. J. W. Sweetman, Mr. and Mrs. O'Shannessy, Mr. and Mrs. Haines, jun., Mr. and Mrs. A. Tunbridge, jun., Mr. and Mrs. Sparks, Mr. and Mrs. E. Pearce, sen., Mr. and Mrs. B. Ackley, Mr. and Mrs. C. F. Thomas, jun., Mesdames Dodd, Bowtell, A. Smith, S. Stokes, Kennedy and Lewis, Misses C. Maley, F. Maley, H. Maley, Mary Turner, E. Turner, A. Turner and Carroll, and Messrs Albert Turner, S. O'Shannessy, W. McCagh, T. Bygrave, C. Connolly, N. Stokes, T. Young, C. M. Maley, J. J. Thorpe, V. Tippett, A. E. Saggers, E. Pearce, jun., and W. G. Jordan. Numerous floral tributes were received by the bereaved family and laid upon the grave."
