By early May 1935 he had left Coorow and was working as a Saddler and Harness-maker at 76 James Street, Perth ^{[5: 3-May-1935]}
Advertised his Perth based saddlery business in The North Midland Times newspaper ^{[5: 19-Jul-1935]}
Any items sent to him in Perth would be repaired and he would then send them back and absorb the cost of the return freight ^[5]
Later resided in Perth ^[2]
Died 15 June 1946; buried Karrakatta Cemetery, Perth WA (Anglican, CA, 128A)^[2]
