Obituary - Ethel Sarah Wilson
"Many will learn with regret of the death of Mrs Ethel Sarah Wilson (nee Miss Ethel Mottram), which occurred at Jarnadup on Saturday, January 22. It appears that the late Mrs Wilson who was residing with her husband (Mr Vernon Wilson), of the Agricultural Bank, Three Springs, was on a visit to her parents, Mr and Mrs J. Mottram, at Manjimup, when she contracted measles. This was followed by a chill, which, developing into pneumonia, necessitated her removal to the Jarnadup Hospital. The deceased lady was the eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs J . Mottram and as a girl resided in Bridgetown, where for many years she attended school. Later she resided with her parents in the Warren district. At the time of death she was 26 years of age. The funeral took place at Balbarrup on Sunday, when a large number of residents from the surrounding
district attended to pay their last respects. Mr. Chas. Ottley officiated at the graveside."
