Married James RYDER in New Norcia on 12 February 1888 [239: Tree 14C] [519: Page 125]
Her husband was the son of an Englishman named John RYDER and an Aboriginal woman Sarah BUNDARAN [239: Tree 14C]
James was born on 14 August 1866, arrived at the Benedictine Mission in New Norcia in 1881 and was baptised in 1882 [519: Page 125]
When they married her name was recorded as Francesca NINTIGIAN [15]
On her children's birth certificates her maiden surname was variously MACPHERSON, NINTIGIAN, NITICHAN and NETYGEN [15]
In 1893 she was living with her husband, son Mark and daughter Mary Carmen at the Benedictine Mission in New Norcia [321]
Most or all of their children were born in New Norcia, where at least three died in infancy [15]
Their child William died aged one year in 1897, Theresa aged eight months in 1902 and Mary Magdalene aged 18 months in 1904 [15]
She passed away in New Norcia at the age of 53 years from tuberculosis and asthenia [40]
