Married Hector Thomas Austin JAMES on 9 January 1936 at Saint George's College Chapel in the Perth suburb of Crawley [39]
     She was given away by her mother and "wore a beautiful frock of white angel skin satin fashioned on classic lines" [39]
     Her frock had a cowl neck in front, long full sleeves to the elbow, fitted tightly at the waist with a long train and silver girdle [39]
     She wore a white tulle veil that fell in translucent folds, and was held in place with a miniature coronet of orange blossom [39]
     Her matron of honour was her then to be sister-in-law Mrs Isobel M. A. CROMMELIN, formerly of Morningdale Farm in Coorow [39]
     She entered the chapel to Wagner's wedding march and left to Mendelssohn's wedding march, both played on the organ [39]
     Their wedding reception was hosted by her mother at the Savoy Hotel in Perth [39: 10-Jan-1936]
With her husband, shifted to Coorow to take over the management of the Coorow Hotel in February 1936 [5: 28-Feb-1936]
     Member of the Coorow Tennis Club in 1936 [5: 6-Mar-1936]
     Attended to the injuries of Mrs DAVIES of Ashburton Downs who was in a car crash in Coorow on 3 April 1936 [5: 10-Apr-1936]

     Travelled from Coorow to Perth on Monday 28 April 1936 [5: 1-May-1936]
     Attended the Carnamah Anglican Church's Mid-Winter Ball on Saturday 11 July 1936 dressed in black Chantilly lace [5: 17-Jul-1936]
     Gave birth to a son at the Moora Hospital in Moora in early December 1936 [5: 11-Dec-1936]
In January 1937 they left Coorow and shifted to Moora where her husband took over the management of the Moora Hotel [5: 29-Jan-1937]
