     A fire on the farm in December 1929 resulted in the loss of 400 acres of stubble, 3 acres of crop and 80 bags of wheat [4: 4-Jan-1930]
          Approximately 100 locals came to fight the fire and prevented it from crossing the road and into the farm of John BOWMAN [4]
     Founding Member of the Carnamah Masonic Lodge No.150 WAC on 21 March 1930 [96]
     Had an account with Carnamah blacksmith, wheelwright and motor mechanics Henry Parkin & Son in 1930 [53]
     His son had his middle finger shattered on his farm in Carnamah by the accidental explosion of a gun on 6 July 1930 [4]
          His son was attended to be Dr Cecil P. ROSENTHAL of Carnamah who immediately removed him to Three Springs [4]
