Attended the Midland Railway Company's 9th Subdivision Sale at the Builders & Contractors' Exchange in Perth on 18 June 1909 [39]
     The sale was the Company's first of agricultural blocks of virgin bush and townsite blocks in Three Springs [39: 19-Jun-1909]
     They were the successful bidder for 910 acres of land in Three Springs
     Their 910 acres consisted of Lots M745, M746, M747 and M748 of Victoria Locations 1933 and 2022 [27]
     The land cost a total of £1,292/10/7, was payable by instalments over 15 years, and was priced between 21/3 and 41/- an acre [27]

     Grew 150 acres of crop on their farm in 1910 [9: 17-Jun-1910]
     Their property in Three Springs was farmed by Arthur from 1910 until his death in 1922 [19]
     Samuel and England both resided in the Perth suburb of Claremont, and were respectively an account and insurance inspector [61]
     Following Arthur's death their farm in Three Springs was managed by Samuel's son Keith Stedman GLYDE [19]
The farm was later jointly owned by Samuel Stedman GLYDE and his son Keith Stedman GLYDE [61]
