Arrived in Carnamah by bus on Monday 30 March 1953 to work as a Labourer for the Public Works Department [22] [88]
On 30 March 1953 he was wilfully murdered in Carnamah by two men of no fixed abode who were aged 23 and 19 years [22]
His body wasn't found until the morning of Friday 3 April 1953 when Doris RAPLEY of the Carnamah Hotel found him [88]
The two men responsible were arrested and taken to the lock-up of the Carnamah Police Station on the evening of 4 April 1953 [22]
He was buried on 4 April 1953 at the Three Springs General Cemetery in Three Springs (Anglican, Plot 99) [24]
His funeral was officiated by Rev. G. PATRICK and undertaken by H. KNIGHT, both of Three Springs [24]
At 10 a.m. on 6 April 1953 those responsible for his death went before two Justices of the Peace at the Carnamah Police Court [22]
Their ruling was for the men to be remanded in custody until the next sitting of the Criminal Court in Geraldton WA [22]
