She was awarded 1st prize for Standard IV Needlework and a 2nd prize for Standard IV Handwriting [5: 20-Sep-1946]
In 1946, 1947 and 1948 she won prizes in the Educational section of the annual Coorow-Waddy Agricultural Show [5: 11-Oct-1946]
Won for Standard IV Needlework, 2nd for Standard IV Handwriting and 1st for Standards III & IV Design for Space in 1946 [5]
