     He banked his cheque at the PARKIN family's The Supply Stores on Yarra Street in Carnamah [92]
Plumber in Carnamah 1919-1921 [50]
Gardener in Carnamah 1921-1927 [6] [50]
Member of the Carnamah Rifle Club in 1926 [9: 9-Jul-1926]
     He was an ex-soldier but hadn't fired over a rifle range in 40 years when he scored 20 off the gun in Carnamah on 27 June 1926 [9]
     40 years earlier he had shot with old Snider and Martini-Henry rifles [9]
Through the generosity of John BOWMAN resided on The Home Farm in Carnamah for many years [P9]
     He lived in a one roomed humpy in bush a short distance behind John BOWMAN's homestead [P9]
     He looked after the BOWMAN's chooks and each night had his evening meal with the BOWMAN family [P9]
     Had a beautiful garden which he made possible by carting water by bucket from a small dam a short distance from his humpy [P9]
     Resided on John BOWMAN's The Home Farm through the majority of the 1920s and possibly during some of the early 1930s [P9]
Later resided in the Perth suburb in Claremont [2]
Died 18 September 1934; buried Karrakatta Cemetery, Perth WA (Anglican, ZL, 237) [2]
