She was tendered a Farewell Social & Dance at the Agricultural Hall in Three Springs on Friday evening 24 March 1944 ^{[4: 1-Apr-1944]}
     Three speakers spoke of the good work she had done while Matron, and how running a country hospital was no easy task ^[4]
     During the function, which had been organised by Edward HUNT, she received a cheque from the residents of the district ^[4]
Left Three Springs by the night train on Friday 24 March 1944 having accepted the position of Matron at the hospital in Norseman ^[4]
