In 1911 he was living with his parents and six siblings at 105 Doidge Road in Erdington, Warwickshire, England [20]

He departed London, England on the steamship Hobsons Bay on 27 February 1922 destined for Fremantle, Western Australia [203]
In 1925 he was working as a Motor Mechanic and living at 15 Fairfield Street in the Perth suburb of Mount Hawthorn [50]

He had worked in England as a Fitter and in 1930 was a Motor Mechanic in Carnamah [19] [203]
From 1927 until 1930 his wife resided in Winchester, where her mother and stepfather were the farmer of Heppleholme Farm [19]
In 1936 he was working as an Engine Driver and living with his wife at 6 Turner Street in Kalgoorlie [50]
Resided of late in the Perth suburb of Yokine [2]
Died 18 December 1971; buried at Karrakatta Cemetery in Perth, Western Australia (Anglican, Lawn 6, Q13) [2]
