They also constructed culverts and approaches on the Midlands Road, for which they received £95 [9: 24-Feb-1911]
In December 1910 he accepted an offer from the Upper Irwin Road Board to clear the road from Dudawa to Morawa [9: 30-Dec-1910]

He and Frank BAILEY were also the owners of a property in Morawa [9: 27-Jan-1911]
In January 1911 they purchased a 14-horsepower traction engine to use for rolling scrub and mallee country on their farm [9: 27-Jan-1911]
