He was a member of a cricket team of Aboriginal men from New Norcia who visited Perth to complete in 1906 ^{[81: 18-Mar-1906]}
Played in a team of Aboriginal men who competed against the Moora Cricket Club over two days in May 1909 ^{[9: 7-May-1909]}
Member of the Berkshire Valley Cricket Club in 1911 ^{[9: 31-Mar-1911]}
Resided in Carnamah ^{[86: 11-Apr-1912]}

He was cautioned and fined two shillings at the Police Court in Moora on 9 January 1919 for having a firearm ^{[9: 17-Jan-1919]}

Death of a well-known Native
"The death occurred on Sunday last of John Nalgo, a full-blooded aborigine, in his 61st year. Nalgo was a well-known identity around these parts and all his employers spoke highly of him. The remains were interred at Moora on Monday, Mr. E. R. Campbell, undertaker, directing the arrangements and Father Williams officiating at the graveside."
