She was accompanied on the Australind by her future step-children and her 18 year old sister Agnes [203]
Married James UNDERWOOD in 1913 [66]
Resided with her husband in Latham in 1921 and 1922 and then on Hill Crest Farm in Coorow 1923-1944 [6] [19] [44]
She presumably bred pigs on the farm as she sold six through Dalgety & Co at Midland Market in 1933 and 1934 [39]
     Sold two boars for 15/- and 16/- each in July 1933 and four baconers for £2/14/6 each in June 1934 [39: 20-Jul-1933, 7-Jun-1934]
She was one of the three costume judges at the Children's Fancy Dress Ball held in Coorow on Saturday 6 July 1935 [5: 12-Jul-1935]

Appears to have returned to England for a visit in 1934
     Departed Southampton on the steamship Hobsons Bay and arrived in Fremantle, Western Australia on 1 February 1935 [203] [338]

"UNDERWOOD (Katie Louise): Passed away 28th August at Ningana Nursing Home, Bentley. Formerly of Malvern (England), Coorow, Karrinyup and Attadale; aged 107 years. Wife of James and mother to his children Gilbert (dec.), Marjorie, Eric (dec.), mother-in-law of Mary, Harry (dec.) and Erica (dec.), grandma to Jill, Jenny, Roger, Peter, Linley and their families."
