In 1904 himself and his brother William purchased 400 acres of virgin crown land in Carnamah in partnership as "Dewar Bros" [P30]
They named the 400 acres Ingle, which was surveyed as Victoria Location 2979 and used to graze cattle from their Gingin farm [P30]
"Dewar Bros" were listed as "Farmers & Graziers" in Carnamah from 1907 to 1913[6]
By 1909 they had also taken up an adjoining 1,000 acres in Carnamah, which became Victoria Location 2978 [44]
Married Emma J. RILEY in Perth in 1912 [66]
After the First World War his brother William's son Percy settled on and began farming their Ingie Farm in Carnamah [P30]
Ownership of the 1,400 acre Ingie Farm later changed from himself and his brother to his brother's sons Percy and Bill [3] [61]
