Employee of Stanley L. HIDDEN at the General Store at 17 Macpherson Street, Carnamah in 1934 [5: 26-Oct-1934]
Rode his motorcycle at a fast speed from Winchester to Carnamah on the morning of Tuesday 23 October 1934 [5]
On arrival in Carnamah a plug came loose and petrol poured over the motorcycle's cylinders and burst into flames [5]
A number of people gathered and helped extinguish the flames but not before considerable damage was done [5]
The morning after 17 Macpherson Street burnt down he parked his bike as normal and then realised the shop was gone [P129]
