In 1914 he was 5 feet 10 inches tall, had a beard which was turning grey and a small carbuncle on the back of his neck [225: 26-Feb-1914]
He was found floating in the Swan River on 26 February 1914 by two boys who were crabbing near Mounts Bay Road [225: 26-Feb-1914]
When found he was dressed in a blue serge suit, a soft white shirt, black tie and lace-up boots [225: 26-Feb-1914]
An inquest concluded his death was from drowning but there was no evidence to show how he come to be in the water [225: 6-Mar-1914]
His estate was valued at £179/10/7 and was administered by an attorney for his executors Michael MOORE and James MOORE [120]
