Later worked as a Farmhand in England ^[70]
Married Clara Elizabeth THORNALLEY in 1912 in Norfolk, England ^[21]
They departed London, England on the steamship Gothic and arrived in Fremantle, Western Australia on 27 January 1913 ^{[70] [203]}
Farmhand for Hans HÄUSSLER on Gregorfields Farm in Winchester, Western Australia 1914-1916 ^[19]
His wife's brother-in-law and sister John & Hettie GOFFIN also travelled on the Gothic and worked in Winchester after arrival ^{[19] [70]}
