The 514 acres was purchased as virgin country from the Midland Railway Company at a price of 26 shillings per acre [120]
He also purchased the adjoining Lot M732, and in 1912 requested the road between the blocks be closed [9: 17-May-1912]
Lot M737 was owned by Gerard A. NEWMAN by 1927 [4: 12-Nov-1927]
The Three Springs farm known as Kirkhams, which Charles C. MALEY sold in 1928, may have once belonged to him [4: 28-Jan-1928]
