The 377 acres, which was one of the company's Ready-Made Farms, was Lot M911 of Victoria Location 2023 [34]
He paid a £100 deposit for Lot M911 and also paid a £25 deposit to have first option in buying Lot M912 in Winchester [34]
Also paid the Midland Railway Company £223/15/- to have 187 acres of crop sown on Lot M911 in Winchester [34]
Later in 1913 he cancelled the contract to purchase the farm and it was subsequently re-sold to John RAFFAN [34]
He never resided on the farm in Winchester and is likely to have never even seen it [34]
