Resided in Mount Magnet prior to enlisting in the Australian Army on 9 June 1942^[16]
Private WX36819 in the Australian Army's 28th Battalion during the Second World War ^[16]

Resided of late in the Perth suburb of Inglewood ^[2]
Died 5 August 1977; ashes interred at Karrakatta Cemetery in Perth, Western Australia (EC, Garden of Remembrance, 16, 21) ^[2]
