Lot M1255 (5,300 acres), which included Neereno Hill, was purchased on 29 June 1920 for £2,658/16/11 (10/- per acre) [27] [44]
Lot M1304 (3,849 acres) was acquired on 25 November 1920 and cost £2,406/5/- (12/6 per acres), both payable by instalments [27]
The two lots, which are adjacent, are on the Three Springs-Perenjori border and not far from the present day Carnamah border [62]
In 1924 he and John KIRKPATRICK paid rates for their 9,149 acres to the Carnamah District Road Board [34]
Although he resided in Leonora he conducted farming operations on his property near Three Springs until 1929 [4: 16-Feb-1929] [6]
Having relinquished farming operations held a clearing sale on his farm near Three Springs at 1 p.m. on Tuesday 26 February 1929 [4]
Livestock auctioned at the sale consisted of 40 draught horses and mares (all of the right ages and with weight) and five hacks [4]
Machinery sold included a brand new 8-foot Sunshine header, new 8-foot Massey Harris reaper thresher, 16-disc Sunshine drill, [4]

His wife, late of the Perth suburb of Wembley, passed away at the age of 80 years on 15 April 1967 [2]
