As early as 1910 he was the owner of the 160 acre Victoria Location 4353 in Latham [44]
Paid rates for his 160 acres to the Upper Irwin Road Board in Mingenew until 1916 and then to the Perenjori-Morawa Road Board [44]
During the First World War he applied to enlist in the Australian Imperial Force on 29 May 1916 and again on 6 November 1918 [30]
On both occasions he applied, which occurred in Perth, he was rejected as unfit for service [30: item 60246351]
Resided in the Coorow-Latham area until at least 1918 [30: item 60246351] [19]
