In 1914 he was working as a Blacksmith and living with his wife Rebecca on Hubert Street in the Perth suburb of Guildford [50]
Resided at 1 Porter Street in Kalgoorlie in 1916 and 1917, during which time he was working as a Farrier [50]
He continued working as a Farrier and lived on Whitfield Street in the Perth suburb of West Guildford / Bassendean 1917-1943 [50]
For at least a portion of 1921 he was working as a Stockman and was living on William Street in Three Springs [19]
He received approval in June 1931 to erect a temporary workshop on Whitfield Street in Bassendean [129: 9-Jul-1931]
In 1949 and 1954 he was working as a Barman and was living at 32 Weld Street in the Perth suburb of Claremont [50]
