From The West Australian newspaper, Wednesday 24 December 1952:
They Are Engaged
"BAKER-SMITH: Mr and Mrs M. P. Baker, of 42 Blencowe-street, West Leederville, have much pleasure in announcing the engagement of their youngest daughter, Viola, to Kevin John, eldest son of Mr and Mrs P. Smith, of 117 Gloster-street, Subiaco."
