Departed Sierra Leone on the Llanstphan Castle and arrived in Fremantle, Western Australia on 9 April 1918 [70]
Travelled out to Western Australia to take up the position of resident doctor in Three Springs [10: 19-Apr-1918]
The position was by arrangement with the Midland Railway Company, who had promised a doctor for their settlers [10: 19-Apr-1918]
Shortly after arrival travelled to Three Springs however was dissatisfied with the arrangements that had been made for him [10]
After having a look around Three Springs and inspecting his new home he left and travelled back to Perth [10: 19-Apr-1918]
He never returned to Three Springs and reached a settlement with the Midland Railway Company after breaking his contract [34]
