Advertisements for the sale of his farm reveal it was six miles from the Winchester railway siding [4]
The property was all fenced, was split into six paddocks, and contained a good well equipped with mill and tank [4]
Also on the farm was a four roomed galvanised iron house and a machinery shed [4]
At the time of sale 700 acres of the farm had been cleared, 300 acres were on fallow and 250 acres had been planted in crop [4]
600 acres of the farm were first class country and the remainder was good lighter country [4: 27-Apr-1929]
At the auction also sold his plant, machinery, horses, tools, super, seed wheat and seed oats [4: 27-Apr-1929]
The farm, which was partially paid for, was sold to Edgar Louis HUF [27]
