Farmer of Mulroy Farm, Lot 54 of the Yandanooka Estate in Yandanooka [4: 6-Nov-1937] [61]
Travelled to Perth with Alexander R. G. BARR of Three Springs to attend the Royal Show on Monday 5 October 1936 [5]
     A rug strapped to luggage on the front of the car suddenly lifted and completely blocked the windscreen on a slight corner [5]
     The car left the road, crashed into two large jarrah logs, bounced off the second log and high into the air where it overturned [5]
     After completely overturning midair the car landed back on its wheels with its windscreen and all nine windows still in tact [5]
     The top of the car was dented but its strong steel body was credited with saving the lives of him and the other passengers [5]
     He sustained head injuries for which he received treatment at the Perth Hospital in Perth [5: 9-Oct-1936]
In 1937 he was one of the first in the state to successfully sell Aberdeen Angus cattle for solid prices at Midland Market [4: 6-Nov-1937]
