She and her husband purchased 1,433 acres of prospective land in Three Springs on 18 October 1910 ^{[120: 17-Sep-1910] [27]}
The 1,433 acres was Lots M820, M824 and M825 of Victoria Location 2020 and respectively cost 18/6, 19/- and 23/6 per acre ^[27]
In total the land cost £1,405/11/- and was purchased from the Midland Railway Company with instalments over 15 years ^[27]
By January 1911 they had left Pingelly and settled on their land in Three Springs ^{[9: 13-Jan-1911]}
