She and her husband farmed Capelcarra Farm on Berkshire Valley Road in Moora 1911 and 1912 [9: 18-Aug-1911] [50]
In January 1912 she advertised for a young girl to help with household duties for wages of 12 shillings and sixpence [9: 19-Jan-1912]
She and her husband, who was working as a Farmhand, resided on farmland at Winchester in the Carnamah district in 1914 [19]
While her husband was in the Australian Imperial Force, she resided at Forest House on Saint George's Terrace in Perth 1915-1917 [30]
On 18 August 1915 she received word that her husband had been wounded in action at Anzac Cove in Gallipoli on 7 August 1915 [30]

She and her husband were living at 1076 Hay Street in West Perth in 1919 [50] and later lived in Fremantle [282: 6-Oct-1922]
