From The Midlands Advertiser newspaper, Friday 25 July 1924:
Serious Accident
Whilst in close proximity of some draught horses last Sunday afternoon, Leo, the five year old son of Mr A. Croft, was trodden on by one of the animals, with the result that several ribs on his right side were badly broken. Had the injury been received on the left side the result must have proved fatal. The little sufferer is at present in the Moora Hospital, where it will be necessary for him to remain some time."
